After the show finished for good in the late 90's, Uncle Bulgaria moved away from Wimbledon and now lives in converted warehouse in Hackney, where he's expanded his trade to include standard domestic waste as the council brought in widespread recycling schemes, and the need for woodland animals to do the job lessened.
